Christians and The Nationalism Dilemma

As A Christian...I am compelled to stand against the hypocrisy of uber-nationalism that I find to be a detriment to the family of our Faith. I follow the One who declares that His Kingdom is {not} of this world. I am now dead to the world and I live in Him.

Gal. 6:14
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Phil. 3:20
For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

In Him we are strangers and pilgrims....waiting for our home ...that will come from heaven....

I do understand Romans 13...quite well...

But, that said; we find no imperative for any cause to up-sell; so called "American Exceptionalism"....or even to get offended by any slander or burned flag against "our country"...whatsoever. To me; and my thinking in Christ; a relational death...{is actually}...a relational death. It is in Christ alone; Who we live for until death. If we serve Him; we serve our country well.

Our perspective countries; are nothing more than geographic boundaries; where we have to live at the present. I happen to live in an affluent and stable country at present; but was it not the wisdom of Solomon; who declared, "all is vanity"?

Paul, an Apostle of Lord Jesus also concurs: Phil. 3:5-8
...5 circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; 6 as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.7 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,...

The higher you lift up an idol....the greater its fall. In today's world; instability to any nation could happen quickly. We need to hang on to the promises in Christ; not some cheesy political slogan.

The higher you lift up an idol....the greater its fall. In today's world; instability to any nation could happen quickly. We need to hang on to the promises in Christ; not some cheesy political slogan..like..."Make America Great Again"....

That's funny...I was waiting for the U.S. to become even, "Nominal"....

When: She had bullet trains, and compensated teachers, policemen and firemen, more than actors and sports players. When we could go, maybe a month without a mass murder...and companies would keep their jobs here...raise the heartlessly low minimum wage, and lower the cost of housing to 25% of income....and amend the vague, inapt, and unfinished  U.S. Constitution.

As a Christian; I am called to love people that are in the world; I am not called to have a hypocritical passion for any part of the world and its inherent corruption.

John warns : 1 John 2:15 ..."Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

If you have a scriptural reference or insight that can show otherwise; I would be happy to consider it.
